Howells Rooflight for Domestic and Commercial Uses

Our rooflights are constructed from aluminium, and are fully thermally broken giving superior thermal efficiency coupled with low maintenance and stylish design. We offer quality powder coated finishes to any standard RAL colour of your choice including dual colour (i.e. internal/external different colours). Different internal and external profile finishes are available including square, ornate and raked features to suit your application. Our rooflights are made to your specific size with pitches ranging from 15 to 45 degrees (30 degrees is our standard).

Adding vertical windows to create a true lantern rooflight gives a more traditional heritage look. Vertical window height is variable and allows top-hung opening vents to be situated within the windows. Our pyramid rooflights are made to the same high standards as all our rooflight systems. As with our double hipped rooflights pitches from 15 to 45 degrees are avaliable. Manufactured to your required size and specification. As with all our rooflights, octagons are made to measure with all your choice of specifications available. We also manufacture trapazoidal roof vents for pyramids/octagon rooflights, eliminating extra bars required to house square vents.

Lantern Rooflights

Our lantern lights incorporate our rooflight system together with vertical uprights to give a seamless and aesthetically pleasing final product.

Roof Vent

The Howells roof vents can be added to any patent glazing or rooflight structure at manufacturing stage.

They can be opened with several different type of gearing from manual clipped and worm, and electric options of switched, rain and smoke.

Pyramid Rooflights

Pyramid rooflights bring a modern twist on the traditional roof lantern that allows light to naturally reflect in.

Octagon Rooflights

As with all our rooflights, octagons are made to measure with all your choice of specifications available. We also manufacture trapezoidal roof vents for pyramids/octagon rooflights, eliminating extra bars required to house square vent

Flat Border Edge Sky Lights

These new style glass bordered rooflights give the same amount of light ingress but retaining the clean flat roof lines.

Features and Benefits:-

  • Thermally broken to eliminate cold bridging
  • Can be installed either on a builders kerb on a flat roof at 4° up to a slope of 15° (4° is recommended) Or within a sloped tiled/slated roof (4° up to a slope of 45°)
  • 28mm double glazed unit. Centre Pane U Value of 1.1W/m2
  • 6mm Clear Toughened with Black Ceramic Black Border Edge
  • 16mm Black Warm Edge Spacer – Argon Filled Cavity – Silicone Sealed
  • 6mm Toughened Low E Inner Insulated Pane
  • Triple Glaze option and Walk On available

Double Pitched Rooflights

Using the HG bar systems, the bar type will be selected dependant on the type of roof required, the weight of the glass and the length that the bar needs to span.
