Avantis Lock
Exclusive to Solidor, the Avantis Lock is the strongest composite door lock ever tested, thanks to advanced hardware and a solid timber core. It features the largest hook and bolt system in the industry, along with a 25mm triangulated deadbolt for extra security, activated by lifting the handle.
Passing the PAS 24 security test, the lock withstood a five-minute manual attack, proving its superior strength. Solidor continues to lead the market in both innovation and security.
Key Wind Up Locking System
The Key Wind Up system is ideal for doors with traditional pull handles or knobs, often seen on Edwardian, Georgian, and Italia Collection doors. It uses the robust STV Cobra 2 mechanism, tested to meet burglar-resistant standards and approved by UK insurance companies.
Engaged by turning the key, the lock features durable sintered metal gears and meets PAS23, PAS24, and ‘Secured by Design’ standards. With a deadbolt that withstands over 4.5kN load and proven reliability through 100,000 test cycles, this system offers exceptional security.
